Forging/rolling → rough machining → quenching and tempering (180-220HB) → fine grinding (journal roughness Ra0.8μm or less) → dynamic balancing test

Fine machining ensures dimensional accuracy, dynamic balancing controls vibration (≤2.5g・mm/kg)

Key process highlights:

Wedge transverse rolling near-net forming: hot rolling at 1140-1160°C, 1-2mm margin reserved, flow lines distributed along the tooth shape, fatigue strength ↑25%5.
Cold rolling and extrusion spline: shaping the tooth shape in a single reciprocating motion, avoiding concentration of cutting stresses, tooth root fatigue limit ↑40%5.
Turning instead of grinding: precision turning of quenched parts (Ra ≤ 0.8μm), alternative to grinding, efficiency ↑18% and environmentally-friendly
